our story

Sensitive Stomachs aren't the niche. They are why we started.

After years in health and wellness, we saw too many people trying to do the right thing, only to feel bloated, uncomfortable or just not feel great.

We thought there had to be a better way.

So we created Coccoo.

Sensitive Stomachs aren't the niche. They are why we started.
Fifty years between us. One problem we couldn't ignore.

our story

Fifty years between us. One problem we couldn't ignore.

Between us we’ve spent fifty years in health and wellness. Building brands, developing products and learning what makes people come back for more.

And one thing kept coming up. People would buy protein with the best intentions, use it for a fortnight, then quietly stop. Sometimes it was the taste. Sometimes it was the bloating, heaviness or discomfort that followed. The tub went to the back of the pantry.

We began asking a different question. What if we stopped formulating around the biggest number on the front of the pack and started with how people actually feel?

the discovery

Coconut kept answering the question.

We knew coconut for its oil and milk. Then a chance meeting at a health expo introduced us to a different side of the fruit: coconut protein and fibre.

We tasted it. We explored the science. We started experimenting.

What excited us was the opportunity to create something different. Plant-based protein and fibre, made simply from coconut, without relying on a long list of unnecessary ingredients to make it work.

One fruit. A whole new way of thinking about nutrition.

Coconut kept answering the question.
We let pressure do the work

the science

We let pressure do the work

Our coconut ingredients begin with real coconut flesh. By using pressure to separate the oil and milk, we can work with the remaining coconut material without chemical solvent extraction.

The coconut material is then dried and milled into a fine powder, preserving its natural goodness.

Simple. Natural. Better.

Good nutrition shouldn’t come with a compromise.
